Reactivation of a wetland

Vinagrella starts this year the recovery of a wetland within its infrastructure. True treasure of biodiversity, the loss of wetlands across the planet became problematic*. Beside contributing to climate regulation and conservation of aquatic and terrestrial fauna, converting part of a land into a wetland en humedal brings a new type of landscape, with plants which change from the traditionnal mediterránean garden. In our case, we will re-shape the old pond banks more vegetation and diversity, and we will observe directly the transformation of the surroundings as we complete the project.
